I had pleasure and privilege of being exposed to Jiu Jitsu at Master Marcus’ Academy for the very first time in my life at the age of 40. I absolutely fell in love with the Art and was fortunate to have the opportunity to learn from the very best. I learned so much with regard to the practice and life thru the school. It is a very close knit community in Jiu Jitsu and thanks Master Marcus, Coach Helosia, Coach Marco and the rest of the team I I was able to understand what the Jiu Jitsu life is all about. I practiced off and on for a couple of years unfortunately life gets in the way but I plan to return “home” soon. Osss

This academy is great! It is such a welcoming and friendly environment. Everyone treats each other with respect and that makes it so much easier to learn the techniques and lessons that are being taught. I highly recommend!

I love this academy the coaches are fun classes are fun and its a very welcoming atmosphere to train inside of it.

From the very first moment you walk in you will probably be introduced to one of the most warm welcomes ever, as if you were a long time friend that was coming back for the first time! Combined with a professional level of jiujitsu that I have not experienced before. I honestly waited a bit to do this review to see if it was something that wore off and I was gladly wrong, I haven't stopped coming here and it just feels like I gained a 2nd home! Master Marcus and all the coaches genuinely care for everyone that comes in will give you as much attention as you need to teach you Jiujitsu. They don't care for competition, so it's not a hostile environment about advancing and being the best, it's a friendly one that puts importance to teaching you self defense and learning something new everytime you walk in!

A great gym filled with great people. From the first time you walk in everyone is very welcoming and eager to help you learn. An excellent place to train.

The coaches are excellent. The atmosphere is lovely. You feel at home. Exercises are fabulous. Recommended!

Been practicing here since may 2018. I used to practice traditional jujutsu (Miyama Ryu) before I moved to south florida, but I always wanted to develop techniques on the ground. I visited couple of academies around, this is the one I liked the most out of 4 I looked. Their program is well developed for people that have no background on martial arts (for all ages). The environment is very cool, coaches are great and Marcus Aurelio himself it's involved during the training.

This is an outstanding place to learn self-defense. If you’re nervous about starting, they will take very good care of you. The environment is very clean and safe. The students and the instructors are very kind, patient, and welcoming. I highly recommend this place for yourself or your children.
